The active USB repeater cable amplifies the passing signal, allowing a USB device to be connected at a distance significantly greater than using passive cables. The range of the cable can be extended with the AXAGON USB extension cable ADR-210.
A big advantage of the ADR-210B extension cable is the built-in plug for additional power supply. In most cases, power supply via USB bus is completely sufficient, but for devices with larger power consumption, power supply over longer distances may be insufficient – additional mains power supply can solve the problem in such cases.
The extremely compact housing of the AXAGON repeater enables problem-free use in electrical installation rails or cable systems. The use of high-quality shielded cable guarantees high communication speed and minimal unwanted interference.
