The ASUS TUF Gaming B650-Plus is equipped with the B650 chipset for AMDs Ryzen 7000 series processors and offers numerous features for gamers. Since the Ryzen 7000 series processors require a new socket due to support for PCIe 5.0 and the expanded power supply, Socket AM5 (LGA 1718) is used on the 600 series motherboards.

Despite the increased pin count, the actual size of the socket remains identical to older sockets, so most CPU coolers for Socket AM4 can also be installed on the motherboard.

Only compatible with AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs!
