The Akasa Cypher SPX Thin-Mini-ITX case in detail
The Cypher SPX from Akasa was specially developed for thin mini ITX mainboards. The generous mesh surfaces in the lid and the sides ensure good cooling potential. To increase the airflow even further, the left side wall of the Cypher SPX offers an installation space for an optional 40 mm fan with a thickness of 10 mm.
The interior of the Cypher SPX offers space for a 2.5-inch data carrier and can accommodate a thin mini ITX board in 6.7 x 6.7 format. In addition to the mandatory power and reset buttons, two additional audio connections and two USB 2.0 type A sockets and preparations for a total of four serial ports are located in the front. There are also two antennas on the back of the case.
Similar to many NUCs, the Cypher SPX Thin-Mini-ITX housing can be mounted directly on a screen or a TV using a VESA mount.
