The Western Digital Red Pro with 10 TB is filled with helium and hermetically sealed. This minimizes volume, power consumption and temperatures, which enables Western Digital to accommodate more platter in a traditional 3.5-inch form factor. The disk only consumes 5.7 watts in operation and runs approximately four to five degrees below the temperature of standard hard disks. With 2.8 W in idle and 0.5 in standby mode, the remaining power consumption values of the Western Digital Red Pro 10 TB are also very low, which not only benefits the NAS system, but also the wallet.

With a data transfer rate of up to 240 MB / s, the limit of the SATA interface is far from exhausted, but the SATA 6G installed here not only offers the advantage of a higher bandwidth.
