The Western Digital WD Blue SN580 NVMe SSD is a very fast M.2 SSD. It is installed in the M.2 slot of the same name and is addressed via the NVMe interface and connected via four PCI Express lanes. The 2 TB Western Digital WD Blue SN580 NVMe SSD achieves high read and write rates of 4,150 and 4,150 MB/s respectively.

This is also thanks to the 3D NAND TLC flash. The excellent performance is even more impressive given the small size of the drive, suitable for ultrabooks or tablets; after all, the Western Digital WD Blue SN580 NVMe SSD is only just under 8 cm long and 2.2 cm wide.
