The AMD Ryzen 7000 Direct Die Frame from Thermal Grizzly is a CPU mounting frame for mounting Ryzen 7000 processors without the integrated heat spreader. By omitting the heat spreader, the CPU cooler can be mounted directly on the processors chiplets, which means that significantly lower temperatures are possible during operation.

Why should I remove my Ryzen 7000s heatspreder?
The heat spreader of the Ryzen 7000 processors is very thick, which is partly due to the compatibility with older CPU coolers for the AM4 socket.
