In practice, there are several good reasons for this. On the one hand, you can continue to use existing SFX models. On the other hand, a particularly large number of power supplies in the lower performance class are available in the SFX format. Another useful advantage is that a space-saving power supply simply leaves more room for the rest of the hardware and especially the cooling. So if you want to install an SFX power supply in a standard housing, Silverstone offers the right installation frame.
