Phanteks PH-F140MP V2: Noise despite high cooling capacity
The PHantek PH-F140MP V2 is a performant 140 mm fan, which was primarily designed as a radiator fan. Thanks to the combination of small volume and the increased delivery volume of 158 m³ / h, the fan is also suitable for users who value in addition to the pure performance of their system also value a quiet operation.
The preinstalled rubber damper on the outer frame minimize the vibration transfer to the housing and thus ensure that the fan, despite its high power even at speeds of up to 2,000 rpm with only 39,1 dB (A) works relatively quiet. The lightweight design of the fan frame is designed to minimize unwanted vibration noise. About the PWM control, the fan can also be throttled at a minimum of 500 rpm, whereby an even quieter operation is possible.
Optimized for radiators
With considerable 3.59 mm H2O, the pH-F140MP V2 generates a high static pressure, wherein the wide fan blades produce a steady and focused air flow. This makes it particularly well able to transport air through the often very dense cooling fins of a radiator.
Daisy Chain Cable for Simple Fan Coupling
By default, the Phantek PH-F140MP V2 is equipped with a Daisy chain cable, whereby several fans of a radiator can be connected to each other. This useful plug-in system can operate several fans with only one cable module, which simplifies installation and is very helpful for tidy cable management. The built-in fans can be connected to the mainboard via the supplied 500 mm 4-pin extension cable. In addition, the fan still contains four screws for installation.
