With the BlackSilent series, Noiseblocker is expanding its offer with especially small fans. These are enjoying renewed popularity due to their use in compact mini and HTPCs as well as HDD enclosures.
However, the limited delivery volume of these small fans below 80 mm is often increased by comparatively high speeds, resulting in considerable noise pollution. Noiseblocker tackles this problem by constructing a series of small and extremely quiet models. Thus, the HTPC in the living room no longer bothers the movie enjoyment.
Externally, the series features a black frame with blue transparent fan blades. The XS2 model is a tiny 50 mm rotor with a small depth of 10 mm in the somewhat higher-throughput edition. The speed is 4,000 rpm. And yet the volume remains low at only 21.1 dB (A).
