This cable can be used to strategically extend the PCI Express x16 slot on a motherboard. With backward compatibility with previous PCIe generations and most Kolink cases, this cable effortlessly connects your graphics card and motherboard with transfer speeds of up to 32 GT/s.
Even with modding projects or in cases that deviate from the common ATX standard, it can be necessary or useful to place PCI Express expansion cards in unusual places. The outer material is made of TPE and has flexible segments that facilitate gentle bends. A particular advantage of a riser cable is the ability to position graphics cards vertically, for example, and thus mount them parallel to the motherboard.
