Observatory Y AMD SE: Familiar case with new features
The Kolink Observatory Y AMD SE from the Observatory series is a premium case with innovative features that is specifically aimed at RGB lovers and water cooling enthusiasts. Four Kolink Umbra PWM ARGB fans are pre-installed on the front and back to increase airflow while adding color accents. The spacious interior is easily accessible thanks to the removable side panels and offers enough space for your high-end hardware.

Elegant tempered glass meets solid steel
By using high-quality materials, the Kolink Observatory Y AMD SE provides good grip and stability for all installed hardware. The frame and cladding are made of 0.7 mm thick SPCC steel and provide a robust structure for the housing. A fold-out tempered glass side panel provides insight into the inner workings of your precious computer.

The Kolink Observatory Y AMD SE has four pre-installed Kolink Umbra PWM ARGB fans. Three of them (120 mm) are attached to the front, the last (140 mm) to the back. Since they are PWM fans, their speed adapts to the workload – with intensive workloads, higher speeds are used, while when not needed, they require fewer revolutions for quieter operation. This supports the airflow provided by the ventilation and mesh cover.

Alternatively, there are a variety of options for installing fans and radiators throughout the case, making the Kolink Observatory Y AMD SE ideal for custom water cooling. The front panel accommodates three 120mm or 140mm fans. Alternatively, the panel can accommodate 240 mm, 280 mm and 360 mm radiators. On the top there is space for three 120 mm fans, two 140 mm fans or a radiator up to 360 mm in size. The back can accommodate a single 120mm or 140mm fan or radiator, while the power supply case cover has brackets for two 120mm fans. Thanks to the spacious interior, there is also space for a CPU cooler with a height of up to 175 mm.

Outstanding hardware support
With its specially designed interior, the Observatory Y AMD SE offers excellent flexibility when it comes to the hardware to be installed. The motherboard tray can accommodate all motherboard form factors, including E-ATX, and supports seven expansion slots. A special graphics card mount supports your GPU and ensures that even particularly massive pixel accelerators do not sag.

The Observatory Y AMD SE is compatible with the Kolink Vertical GPU Kit, which allows vertical mounting of graphics cards. With headroom for cards up to 380mm long, this chassis can accommodate most triple-slot GPUs currently available.

In the lower part of the case, the special power supply cover with a removable plate provides easier access. Under the cover is space for an ATX power supply up to 190 mm in length and a vibration-insulated drive cage for two 3.5-inch drives. In addition, on the back of the motherboard tray there are mounts for three 2.5-inch SSDs – a really extensive and flexible support for your storage solution.

Top ventilation thanks to four ARGB fans
The black interior of the Observatory Y AMD SE provides the perfect stage for your RGB lighting, your imposing hardware or your sleeved cables. A hidden area for cable management behind the motherboard tray also ensures a tidy interior. This area is equipped with three Velcro strips and offers 30mm of space to properly route cables and guide them directly to the motherboard. The I/O panel is located directly above this area, including ports for 2x USB 3.1 Type A, 1x USB 3.1 Type C, 1x USB 2.0 and HD audio.

The four pre-installed Umbra ARGB fans not only impress with excellent cooling, but also offer a great light show with their ARGB lighting. The ARGB lighting can be individually adjusted with the Umbra ARGB controller and the dedicated switch on the I/O panel. Alternatively, the ARGB lighting can be adjusted via compatible software when connected to a 3-pin 5V ARGB header of the motherboard.
