Its hard to believe that the developers at IN WIN keep coming up with something new. With the Z-Tower we will once again be taught a lesson. It is almost an understatement of this big tower, because in addition to the material used, the unusual shape stands out in the eye. Curved surfaces screw up on the central support. The entire aluminum housing is almost completely handmade. In addition, the limited edition receives a unique engraved serial number – the Z-Tower is more of an art object than a housing.
The unusual shape, which is reminiscent of a futuristic building from a science fiction film, but is carefully chosen. The spiral structure reinforces the chimney effect and thus ensures a perfect dissipation of the resulting heat upwards. Fresh air comes abundantly from below and from the side, because except for the curved aluminum panels, there are no covers, the housing is largely open. Up to three fans on the top additionally support the chimney effect. Alternatively, of course, a radiator with a water cooling can be used.

Creative housing, high functionality
Even the material from which the Z-Tower is made gives the case a unique look. The curved side parts are made of cast aluminum and shine silvery. The Z-Tower does not only look original, but it also has powerful hardware inside it. The curved outer parts are attached to a stand with irregular honeycomb pattern and envelop a central carrier. It can attach motherboards up to a form factor of E-ATX.
For an ATX or EPS-sized power supply, a support is attached to the bottom side that accommodates PSUs up to 120 millimeters in size. In addition, there are a total of eight horizontal PCI slots on which graphics card with a length of up to 340 mm have space. Alternatively, the graphics card can also be installed vertically. A suitable riser cable has been added to the Z-Tower by IN WIN. For disks, there are two brackets at the bottom that can accommodate either two 3.5 or 2.5 drives.
Effective cooling option through the chimney effect
The cooling concept in the Z-Tower is anything but standard, because apart from the curved side parts, the housing is open. Even the underside with its irregular honeycomb pattern is largely permeable to air. The side panels, however, enhance the chimney effect that arises when the cool air rising from the bottom is warmed up and rising by processor, GPU, and other hardware. This effect is reinforced by fans that run at the top, which is also provided with a honeycomb pattern. Up to three 120mm fans can be installed there. Alternatively, a 360 mm radiator can be attached there. An additional CPU cooler may be up to 170 millimeters deep.
