The capture devices from Elgato have a number of advantages over conventional software solutions: The Game Capture HD60 S + can handle any device that outputs unencrypted images via HDMI. These include, for example, consoles such as Playstation 4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch, but also cameras and PCs. All resolutions from 480p to 720p at 30 frames per second to 2160p at 30 frames per second are supported.

The Elgato Came Capture also records HD60 + HDR content in 1080p at up to 60 frames per second. The recording quality has been significantly increased compared to the previous model, because the Elgato Came Capture HD60 S + offers a bit rate of 60 Mbit / s. The HDMI pass-through sends the signal to the screen in 2160p at 60 frames per second and in HDR. Thanks to the ultra-low latency technology, there is no noticeable delay.

Delayed recordings via Flashback Recording
The Elgato Game Capture HD60 S + enables flashback recording. The capture device continuously saves in a buffer of any size. There you can rewind and start a recording, which continues seamlessly when the time of the live stream has been reached.

The software also comes with an editing mode for cutting the video sequences. They can then be published directly from the software on Facebook or Twitter or transferred via iTunes to an iPad and iPhone or via Apple TV. Of course, screenshots can also be taken.

In addition to your own commentary via headset, chat from Playstation 4 or Xbox One can also be integrated into the video stream via the analog audio input on the Elgato Game Capture HD60 S +.
