EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3090 Backplate – Silver is a CNC machined retention backplate made from silver anodized aluminium for the EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3090 – Special Edition water block.
The backplate covers the backside of the graphics cards PCB and serves as an aesthetic add-on. It provides additional passive cooling for the GPU core, rear-mounted VRAM and backside of the printed circuit board VRM section. Due to the small size of both the card and the water block, the backplate boasts a ribbed design for additional passive cooling power and touches the active part of the water block for true hybrid cooling.
