The Cosmos C700P with futuristic design and many features
Outwardly, the C700P deviates significantly from its ancestors: there are more corners and edges. But above all impresses the unique, attached to hinges, curved glass side part, which immediately draws the attention to itself and the interior of the case. Futuristic in this combination, the four Cosmos-typical strips, which serve as a design element and at the bottom at the same time as a stand and at the top as carry handles for transport. They are still – extremely noble! – made of brushed aluminum. But not only that: once switched on, there RGB LEDs light up and immerse the extraordinary case in an atmospheric light.
But not only externally, the Cosmos C700P is impressive. The engineers at Cooler Master have designed the housing as modular as possible. All it takes is a simple screwdriver to disassemble it into its components, rivets can not be found. For example, its easy to remove the eye-catching screens in front of the optional power supply and front drive shaft. Behind it lies the controller for the RGB LED lighting. In addition, another 5.25-inch drive can be placed there, which disappears on the outside behind the removable plastic front with its sound insulation panel.
Lots of space for fans and radiators
Behind the front mesh element, the two pre-installed 140-mm fan with dust filter are installed. There, a radiator with a size of up to 420 mm can be accommodated, provided the ODD cage is removed. Then a radiator with a size of up to 360 mm can also be accommodated on the top side. At the front is the I / O panel with its four USB 3.0 Type A sockets. In addition, there is also a USB 3.1 Type C plug, audio in and out and the controller for RGB lighting. Incidentally, three 3-pin fan connections and one RGB LED connection are still available on the controller board.
By default, a 5.25-inch and two 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives fit into the Cooler Master Cosmos C700P. With the ODD cage behind the front, the number increases to a total of two 5.25-inch and up to 9 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives. If the 3.5-inch HDD cage removed, instead of 32 inches remain a whopping 49 centimeters of space for the graphics card. In total, there are eight expansion slots. Two additional 2.5-inch bays are located on the back of the mainboard tray. The tray can also be easily removed and rotated 180 degrees. Of course, the mainboard tray can also be mounted so that the Maiboard is oriented to the right, then it can only rotate 90 degrees to achieve an even better chimney effect in air cooling.
Sufficient space for large CPU cooler
On the back of the third pre-installed 140-mm RGB fan is installed. Optionally, a 120 mm or 140 mm radiator, such as an AiO water cooling system for the CPU, will also fit there. If you prefer to use conventional CPU cooler, you may obstruct a height of up to 19.8 centimeters. Space is also for oversized power supplies, which may then disappear behind the screen again. At the bottom is again a dust filter over a mesh element. By the way, if you do not find the right side part of steel chic, you can buy a second one made of curved glass. Anyway, the modularity of the Cosmos C700P invites you to extreme modding!
