The be quiet! Light Base 500 LX mid-tower offers the perfect balance between size and functionality. With plenty of room for powerful hardware and efficient cooling, it is the ideal choice for gaming and workstation builds.
Extensive cooling options with fans and radiators
To keep your hardware cool under any load, it will be quiet! Light Base 500 can accommodate up to ten fans simultaneously. The top supports three 120mm or two 140mm fans. On the side, three 120mm fans can be installed, while the bottom allows for three 120mm fans. A 120mm or 140mm fan can also be mounted at the rear.
Out of the box, you get four pre-installed 120mm fans – three Pure Wings 3 Reverse on the side and one Pure Wings 3 at the rear.
An AiO water cooling system can also be easily installed if you prefer to cool your powerful hardware with water cooling. There is space at the top (up to 360mm), on the side (up to 240mm), and at the rear (up to 120mm) for this purpose.
Installing your hardware
The case provides enough space for powerful gaming hardware. It supports graphics cards up to 400mm in length. Motherboards up to the ATX form factor are supported. You can also install motherboards with a back-connect design – in this case, you should swap the power supply and a drive bracket to be able to use all drives. The CPU cooler should not exceed a height of 185mm. To store programs and games, up to three drives can be installed in total.
