The ASUS PCE-AC88 is an 802.11ac Wi-Fi PCI Express adapter that provides desktop PCs with the leading 802.11ac standard at up to 2,167 Mbps, eliminating the need for annoying cable connections. NitroQAM technology (1024-QAM) increases 2.4 GHz 802.11n performance for compatible devices to up to 1,000 Mbps. The external antenna solution can be flexibly installed with its detachable antennas and the magnetic antenna base and aligned to the best possible reception.

The PCE-AC88 uses state-of-the-art Wi-Fi standards, enabling speeds of up to 2,100 Mbps over the 5 GHz band, which is significantly faster than the 802.11n Wi-Fi standard. Of course, the adapter is fully down-compliant to all previous Wi-Fi standards, providing both fast and fluid data transfer in both directions – to devices that support the 802.11ac standard as well as to existing devices with the previous standards – and All this seamlessly.

Thanks to its PCI Express interface, the ASUS PCE-AC88 can be plugged into any motherboard, allowing the desktop PC to be easily and quickly upgraded to the latest 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard, enabling transfer rates of up to 2.1 Gb / s. The direct connection to the mainboard completely removes annoying cable connections and an external power supply is not required.

The external antenna solution with four detachable antennas is connected in a magnetic antenna base to the ASUS PCE-AC88 adapter via a cable provided.
