The function of the Arctic Case Fan Hub is as simple as it is ingenious: With it, up to ten 4-pin fans can be controlled out-of-the-box with a PWM signal.
 To do this, you connect the supplied 4-pin PWM cable to a 4-pin fan header on the motherboard and connect the SATA power cable to the power supply unit. Now up to ten 4-pin fans can be connected directly to the hub and controlled via a PWM signal.

With the 10-port fan hub from Arctic, up to ten 4-pin PWM fans can be operated and controlled simultaneously via just one 4-pin connector on the mainboard. The fan hub is connected to a free 4-pin port on the mainboard and connected to the power supply unit via SATA power. Thats it. All connected fans are now controlled via a PWM signal. The speed signal of the first fan is read out and passed on to the mainboard.
The separate power supply via SATA power cable ensures a continuous flow of current and prevents overloading of the 4-pin pot on the mainboard. Two self-adhesive Velcro surfaces and magnetic tapes are included for mounting in the housing. With these, the hub can be placed flexibly – for example on the back of the MB tray.
