The sensor is connected thereto at the level of the lower edge of the reservoir (or lower) and mounted with one of the terminals of the underlying reservoir. In addition, either the second pressure sensor port (Type Delta 40/100/500) are connected or where a pressure equalization membrane are assembled with a connector at the top of the reservoir in the bubble (for all types). Connections and compensation membrane are not included and must be purchased separately!
Another application is the measurement of the differential pressure on filters to monitor the increasing resistance with increasing pollution, the need for maintenance of the filter element can be much better than with a visual inspection to determine. The same applies to any contaminants in microstructure coolers. A differential pressure measurement between the input and output of a pump is suitable for monitoring the operation and provides professional hardware tester valuable information.
All sensors have an integrated electronic controller with USB and aquabus interface, a configurable alarm output and an external temperature sensor input. For monitoring and configuring the software is available for download aquasuite. The four-pole aquabus interface also allows direct connection to a aquaero 5 controller (not included).
The alarm output can be optionally configured as an artificial speed signal output for connection to a fan with speed signal analysis (eg the motherboard) or contact output, for example, to switch a LED on alarm. For alarm monitoring are among the measured pressure (depending on the installation according to the current level) and the external temperature sensor input. The external temperature sensor input is compatible with all services offered by Aqua Computer temperature sensors.
The present version mps pressure Delta 40 is a differential pressure sensor with two ports and a measuring range of 0 to 40 mbar, which is roughly equivalent to a water depth of 0 to 40 cm.
