Aqua Computer farbwerk USB - aquabus variant

The small board works autonomously with its own microprocessor and can also be operated independently of a PC. Four sensor inputs can be used with matching (optional) temperature sensors to record temperatures and visualized as a color.

With a bit of pleasure craft also connecting a potentiometer or voltage sensing in the range of 0 to 3.3 volts at these inputs is possible. Similarly, the outputs with a little creativity can also be used for other purposes, such as fans or outside the PC to other components with a voltage up to 24 V.

Several functions for the outputs of the inking unit are available. Thus, the color of an intuitive control of aquasuite directly select and adjust their intensity and brightness precisely. The gradients can be precisely defined, which then outputs the inking unit with an adjustable transition speed. As an effect, a brightness curve can be defined to cause a pulsation of the connected LED strips.

The sensor inputs of the inking unit can be directly used in order to influence the color of the associated channel. So you can, for example, aquasuite define in a gradient between 20 degrees C and 35 degrees C, which is then processed and displayed accordingly in the inking hardware.

How can Aquaero which is also the inking control its outputs for software sensors. By aquasuite connection to HWiNFO, AIDA and Open Hardware Monitor also values from the environment of the computer can control the inking. This can for example be transmitted the CPU load of a core to the inking. The measure together with transition and the like is then according to the sensitivity in the inking.

The configuration of the inking unit is simple via USB using the free software aquasuite that can manage any number of inking controller simultaneously. The USB connection can be disconnected after configuration also, the settings are stored directly in the device. In addition to the USB interface is available in this version yet aquabus interface.

In this aquabus variant, the inking unit can be connected to an aquaero 5 also by aquabus with a 6 or Aquaero. Aquaero can in this case control all outputs of the inking or transmit sensor values from the Aquaero in the inking, then lets use the inking these values for the output control. A maximum of two color works simultaneously be connected Aquaero 5/6 per aquabus with. Of course, a pure USB operation is possible without aquabus connection.
