With the Pascal TN, Akasa has really come up with something very special: The small NUC housing is actually waterproof and dust-resistant, even according to protection class IP65. The scope of delivery also includes four waterproof connection cables: HDMI, USB, LAN and power. How serious Akasa is with this feature can be seen from the fact that extra round seals are supplied for all housing connections so that they can be closed when not in use.

Specially tailored to selected NUC boards from Intel, the Pascal TN is very space-saving and, above all, has a flat design. The special feature: The top and the outer edges are almost completely provided with aluminum cooling fins. With these, the housing itself represents the heat sink for the built-in system and works completely without a fan. This means that the NUC system works completely silently in the Akasa Pascal TN.

For this, the CPU comes into direct contact with special contact surfaces of the Pascal TN. The waste heat then reaches the housing walls evenly via the heatsink plates and is released into the environment via the fins – absolutely silent! Thermal paste and thermal pads are included for ideal heat transfer.
