The Akasa Cypher MX3 Thin-Mini-ITX case in detail
The Akasa Cypher MX3 was specially developed for thin mini ITX motherboards. The generous mesh surfaces in the lid and the sides ensure good cooling potential. To increase the airflow even further, the left side wall of the Cypher MX3 offers a mounting space for an optional 40 mm fan with a thickness of 10 mm.
The interior of the Cypher MX3 has space for a 2.5-inch data carrier and can accommodate a thin mini ITX board in 6.7 x 6.7 format. In addition to the mandatory power and reset buttons, there are two additional audio connections and two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 type A sockets in the front. There are also two antennas on the back of the case.
Similar to many NUCs, the Cypher MX3 Thin-Mini-ITX housing can be mounted directly on a screen or a TV using a VESA mount.
