The Watercool Heatkiller IV combines the best of the predecessor models and extends the factory-installed cooling solution of the manufacturer with a highly potent water cooler. A cooling performance that moves at the level of current high-end CPU cooler, a flat design and high quality materials are the features of the IV series.
Heatkiller IV covers all heat sources
The water-carrying part of the cooler is made of high-purity, nickel-plated electrolytic copper, covered by a black lid made of anodized aluminum with transparent acrylic glass window and surrounded by a stainless steel cover on the side. The combination of the successful cooling structure of the GPU-X³ series and the central flow of the GPU-X²-series are the main reason for even better cooling results of this IV series.
The bearing surface of the heat sink also covers the RAM modules and at the same time the voltage transformers, which are thereby also cooled. The fine microstructure in the area of the GPU guarantees optimum cooling of these components as well.
Effortless installation in the WaKü cycle
In addition, insulating spacers are embedded, which ensure easy and problem-free installation. All channels have a large volume, so that the flow resistance and the total weight remain low.
The connection terminal is made of polyoxymethylene (POM), which has high strength and hardness. On four threads distributed on both sides in the 1/4-inch format, the hoses can be variably brought from above or below. The terminal has a generous distance between the center points of the threads. Thus, on the one hand the trend towards larger hose diameters is taken into account, on the other hand, the integration into the circuit by means of fittings is generally more comfortable.
The necessary connections are not included. Watercool also offers matching LED strips in different colors or RGB for the water coolers. The cooler is only suitable for cards in the reference design of the type AMD RX Vega 56 and RX Vega 64! The original cooler must be removed before installation, which invalidates the manufacturers warranty!
