To prevent this problem, the use of a mounting plate is recommended. This covers any conversion margins and also has pre-drilled holes for mounting a radiator or fans. In addition, the fan grill has cuts, so no screws protrude through the aperture beyond disturbing.
This is a silver plate for two 140 mm fans. Alternatively, the panel can of course also be used to install a 280 mm radiator. The material comes in polished stainless steel 1mm thickness to use. The polished surface has a mirror effect, which gives the case an extra touch of elegance.
