The der8enchtable is a collaboration between Thermal Grizzly, Jon "elmor" Sandström (ElmorLabs), and Roman "der8auer" Hartung. In addition to the features of a standard benchtable, such as integrated mounts for radiators and power supplies, the der8enchtable has a base unit with an integrated circuit board (PCB) to which the hardware under test can be connected.
For consistent test results, fans can be controlled via three fan controllers, each with three 4-pin fan connectors. Each of these fan zones can be individually set to 50% or 100% speed via a switch, provides 3A of power to supply the fans, and is equipped with a fuse. It is also possible to control the der8enchtable's fan zones externally from the motherboard.

A-RGB Lighting
In addition to the fan control zones, the base unit with integrated PCB offers an extra control zone with two 4-pin headers for pumps or fans, providing the same control options as the fan zones. The pump zone provides 3A per connection—6 amps total—and each connection has its own fuse. Peripherals can be connected to the der8enchtable via USB (4× Type-A, 2× Type-C).
Testing and benchmarking hardware usually requires drivers, BIOS, or an operating system. To simplify this, storage media can be installed directly on the benchtable. Two 2.5-inch SSDs can be mounted on the PCB. Additionally, the PCB offers four slots for microSD memory cards, which represent a cost-effective alternative to solid-state drives (SSDs) in terms of price per gigabyte.
The motherboard used for testing is connected to the der8enchtable via the 9-pin USB header. The der8enchtable is powered via a PCIe 6-pin cable from the power supply unit. For controlling the addressable RGB lighting (aRGB), the der8enchtable can be connected to the motherboard via a 3-pin header. Alternatively, an external RGB controller (not included) can be used. A power button and a reset function are also integrated on the PCB and are connected to the motherboard via cables.
The der8enchtable PCB features pre-installed standoffs for ATX motherboards, which can be reconfigured for Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. A power supply can be mounted in the lower part of the black anodized aluminum frame; a customizable Velcro strap is included for cable management. If the lower frame section is not needed, the feet can be attached directly to the base unit. This makes the der8enchtable significantly more compact.
