With the SST-SX700-LPT v1.1 power supply unit, Silverstone relies on the compact SFX-L form factor. Compared to SFX power supplies, PSUs with SFX-L form factor are slightly higher. Due to the additional space, larger and quieter 120 mm fans fit into the power supply units instead of the 80 mm fans that often turn too fast. The result is a high-performance SFX-L power supply with an extremely high continuous output of 700 watts, a powerful 12 V single rail with 58.4 amps and a 120 mm fan with semi-passive fan control.

Thanks to the SFX-L format, the SST-SX700-LPT v1.1 is primarily intended for mini housings, but still stands out due to its extensive connection arsenal and offers very high performance with minimal dimensions. Due to the length of 13 cm, however, the compatibility with the desired housing must be ensured before buying. The PSU can also be installed in ATX housings using the replacement cover supplied.

Fully modular cable management & 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency
The installation of the power supply unit in small housings is particularly convenient thanks to the excellent cable management, as the device is fully modular and is supplied with removable ribbon cables for needs-based connection equipment. The extremely high efficiency of the power supply, averaging 89% to 92%, was awarded the 80 PLUS Platinum certificate and ensures that relatively little electrical energy is converted into heat.

Instead of a multiple split 12 V line, this version has a powerful single rail with a full 58.4 amps and offers various protective functions such as OCP (overcurrent protection), OPP (overload protection), OVP (overvoltage protection), UVP (undervoltage protection), ( OTP) overheating protection and SCP (short circuit protection). The individually pluggable connections illustrate the power of the power supply unit: In addition to 20 + 4-pin and 4 + 4-pin ATX / EPS plugs, there are also four 6 + 2-pin PCI Express connections and nine SATA Connector, three 4-pin Molex connectors and a floppy connector are used to supply peripheral devices such as HDDs or burners.
