The drive has a modern SATA 6G interface, a 256 MB buffer and the platters rotate at 7200 revolutions per minute. Due to the high speed, the HDD can transfer data with a sustained data throughput of fast 240 MB / s, but still has a low power consumption of only 9.2 watts.
