The small screen with high-quality IPS panel has a resolution of neat 1,280 x 800 pixels (HD-ready) and is connected via the supplied HDMI cable to the Raspberry Pi or to other single-board computers or Windows PCs. The GPIO port remains free for other devices and add-on modules. The display is integrated into a black acrylic frame, to the back of which single-board computers can be attached and also display stands with a tilt angle of 30 or 45 degrees. Wall mounting or integration into furniture is also possible.
In addition, the display has a capacitive digitiser with multi-touch function that transmits finger touches via a USB port to terminals. A micro USB cable for this is already included. Touch inputs can thus be executed very precisely and without pressure via the display, similar to a smartphone or tablet. The display is powered by a supplied USB power adapter.
