Hard glass and anodised aluminum with intelligent two-chamber design
The Paean supports mainboards up to the ATX format and has a smart, semi-open two-chamber design. The only limitation of the chambers is the glass panes, which are fastened to a total of eight aluminum cylinders with thick rubber sheathing, with the four lower support bars each acting as pedestals. This allows the show case to be rotated in various ways and set up as desired. In the middle is the stable aluminum base plate, which has been provided with numerous rubberized cable ducts and ventilation openings. The assembly can be complete without tools.
Predestined for custom water cooling systems
While in the right-hand chamber there are three 3.5-inch drives, as well as three 2.5-inch drives and a common ATX power supply, the minimum larger left side accommodates the mainboard, including hardware and cooling. A power supply holder frame ensures that up to 20 cm long PSUs can be used. Also on the left side, up to three 120-millimeter fans can be used, which can alternatively also give way to a 240, 280 or even 360 millimeter radiator. Directly behind it – quite practically – a vertical compensation tank (eg a Raijintek RAI-R20 in the desired color) can be attached to the aluminum base plate, which means that there is nothing in the way of a complete custom water cooling system.

When using such a Wakü reservoir, graphics cards installed on the mainboard can be up to 31 cm in length, without the GPUs even 40 cm in space – ideal for AMD CrossFireX or NVIDIA SLI multi-GPU configurations. Coolers for the processor can be about 13 centimeters high, with unlimited space without the glass side. The easy-to-access I / O panel with four USB 3.0 ports and audio in / out can be mounted either on the right or left side of the base plate and also accommodates the power button. Depending on the preference, there is the possibility to leave the chamber, which is referred to here as the left side, as the other components remain discreetly hidden on the back. Finally, there are eight slot mounts for expansion cards on the motherboard.
