PHANTEKS PH-F120XP PWM 120mm Fan - black/white

The nine fan blades on the rotor of the PH F120XP were further optimized to and designed in a perfect angle to generate an ideal relationship between oil flow and static pressure: at this 120-mm specimen with 4-pin PWM connector gives the in full 12 Volt Airflow of a rich 104 m³ / h and 1.72 mm H2O in static air pressure.

The fan operates at a maximum of only 27 dB (A), the good result is partly due to the feature called Maelstrom Vortex Booster, short MVB. The jagged ridges on the outer edges thereby define the airflow stronger, which means less turbulence and thus reduced noise level.

All the amenities of an innovative blade design fizzle out, however, if the drive and bearings fail and chirps of the fan, humming and / or rattles. Such a thing does not exist in Phanteks of course, the fans come with the proven UFB-Bearing (Updraft Floating Balance), which quiet operation and extreme durability of 150,000 ensures hours.

No wonder that Phanteks once again does not hesitate to provide very generous five years warranty on the PH F120XP fan. Thanks to the built-in fan frame rubber gates at the 120-mm holes is counteracted when used as a case fan vibration transmission to the case – even at full 1,500 r / min.

Visually, the quiet but powerful fans are an asset to any CPU cooler and each case: the black frame with extra cad design and curved webs sits the white rotor with nine leaves. The 3-pin connector cable is sleeved black, the 4-pin connector cable is sleeved black, which also go to the 40 cm long additional cable. It comes with four standard fan screws.
