Improved airflow and more space for hardware
The black Eclipse P350X Midi-Tower with white interior from the Phantek Eclipse series offered here impresses already visually with its clear lines and the noble, rather restrained design. The one-piece front panel gives the case a very noble look, which is further enhanced by the addressable RGB LED lighting. The side air intakes have made Phanteks larger and equipped with dust filters compared to the P300. They not only ensure optimum airflow, they also give the case an attractive look.
At the front end of the lid is the I / O panel with the centrally placed power switch, which also serves as a reset button. To the right are two switches for controlling the RGB modes and their speed. Alternatively, the addressable RGB LED strips can also be connected directly to the mainboard via the 3-pin connector. Behind it sit the two audio ports and the two USB 3.0 ports. The majority of the lid takes a large, removable magnetic dust filter, which acts as a large mesh grid and rests on a large ventilation grille.
Lots of space for fans and radiators
The interior of this version of the Eclipse P350X looks very precious thanks to the white finish and is divided into two parts by the cover of the power supply cover. The PSU-Shroud also conceals the two drive bays, which allow tool-free mounting of two 3.5-inch HDDs on the front, which of course must first be removed. Behind the motherboard tray, up to two SSDs can be mounted in Drop-N-Lock SSB brackets. There is still room for an optional third bracket. For cable management, the enclosure provides 36mm of space. Velcro cable fasteners enable a clean laying of the cables.
For gamers and hardcore gamer, the Phanteks Eclipse P350X offers high-end gamer hardware options in the form of up to 400mm long graphics cards and radiator mountings for AiO water cooling and custom water cooling. For example, the case in the back offers built-in options for a 120mm fan or equivalent radiators, while the front can accommodate two 120mm fans or 140mm fans. As an alternative to the front fans, 240 or 280 heat exchangers can be installed in the front. In addition to the pre-installed 120 mm fan in the front, up to two 120 or 140 fan cases can be mounted in the lid.
If you want to curb your processor with a regular CPU cooler, you can use a model up to 16 cm high, while a power supply up to 240 mm long can supply the power needed for the gaming system. Under the power supply is another dust filter.
