NZXT H710i Matte Red Case

The attachment mechanism of the tempered glass side panel has been optimized and now requires a single screw on the back of the case. This provides a cleaner look and there is less tension on the glass. In addition, NZXT installs the Smart Device V2 to control fans and RGB LED accessories and refreshes the front panel with new connections.

NZXT H710i Midi Tower: Fit for modding!
With the H710i, NZXT once again relies on the proven cuboid design with smooth outer surfaces and harmonious proportions. Changes to the appearance are primarily of a practical nature: the tempered glass side panel was attached to the chassis with four knurled screws on the predecessor. With the NZXT H710i, on the other hand, the side surface is completely flat. A single knurled screw on the back of the case provides a secure hold and easier access to the inside of the computer. The version offered here is black with red color accents.

As a special feature, the NZXT H710i Midi Tower has an integrated controller with NZXT CAM support, called Smart Device V2. It is used to control the already installed NZXT Aer F fans as well as the two included NZXT HUE 2 RGB LED strips, which are immediately visible through the tempered glass window. A total of nine fans can be connected to the three PWM connections via Y-cables. The RGB connectors together support four HUE 2 strips or up to five NZXT AER RGB fans. An acoustic sensor helps determine the optimal balance between cooling and noise. The control takes place by means of the functional software on the PC.

Air and water cooling options
If you rely on traditional air cooling, the NZXT H710i has a lot to offer: three 120 or two 140 fans can be installed in the front and in the lid, and there is space for a 120 or 140 model in the rear wall. A maximum height of 185 millimeters is intended for processor coolers. NZXT generously equips the midi tower with four in-house fans from the Aer series: three black 120 models are pre-installed in the front and one 140 model in the back and ensure adequate air exchange. Removable dust filters are attached to the front and under the power supply.

The installation of a custom water cooling system was also considered: The user can install 280 or 360 radiators in the front and cover. 60 millimeters are provided at the front and 30 millimeters in the lid. A 120 mm heat exchanger can be installed in the rear wall. The expansion tank and pump with a height of up to 224 millimeters can be installed on the cable cover between the mainboard and the front of the housing.

Plenty of space for hardware components
The interior of the NZXT H710i offers plenty of space for installing powerful hardware: In addition to Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX and ATX mainboards, E-ATX mainboards up to a width of 272 millimeters can also be installed. Seven slots are available for expansion cards. In addition, the H710i offers two additional slots for installing the graphics card vertically. This can be up to 413 millimeters long.

Like its predecessors, the NZXT H710i does not have any external drive bays. Internally, however, a large number of data memories can be installed: A modular hard disk cage is located under the power supply cover. This allows the installation of up to three 3.5 inch hard drives. Another 3.5-inch hard drive can also be installed on the bottom of the case.

Two 2.5-inch data memories are installed vertically behind the mainboard tray. Two more 2.5-inch drives can be mounted on the power supply cover and another 2.5-inch drive on the side of the mainboard tray. This means that up to four 3.5-inch and five 2.5-inch drives can be installed. Dedicated rails for cable routing are located behind the mainboard tray. There is around 18 to 22 millimeters of space available for invisibly laying the cables.
