The housing accommodates a 2.5-inch data carrier. The size limitation is 9.5 mm high hard disks or SSDs. The ICY BOX is connected directly to a free USB port using a USB 3.0 interface and achieves transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit / s. Of course, the IB-AC703-U3 is also backwards compatible with the older USB interfaces 2.0 and 1.1.

In addition, the adapter can be easily connected to the PC via Plug & Play without any drivers and supports hot swap.
