The I / O panel is housed in the right pane of the front and consists of a power button, a USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port and one each Audio In / Out port. The power button has been deposited with a white LED and is located directly below the two drive bays for the external 5.25-inch drives.
For hard drives, the Core 1100 has a vertically mounted drive bay, either up to two 3.5-inch HDDs, three 2.5-inch HDDs / SSDs or One 2.5-inch and a 3.5- inch drive can hold. Graphics cards can be up to 350 mm long, but GPUs can with a lateral power connector with a length of 170 mm collide with optionally installed 3.5-inch HDDs.

The Core 1100 Mini Tower has been designed to optimized to a good airflow and is equipped with a pre-installed 120 mm fan with 1200 U / min. equipped in the front. In the back there is space for a 92-mm fan and the left side part, another 120 mm fan attached to cool the installed hardware. The Core 1100 offers a maximum CPU cooler height of 148 mm.
