The H80i V2 has two very powerful fan from the Corsair Air Series, more precisely, two SP120L PWM. These are optimized for a high static pressure, which is important for the operation together with a radiator. These offer specially made blades in the 120-mm fans a better relationship between the static pressure and noise and thus higher performance at a lower noise than ordinary fans. By the push-pull configuration, a higher performance is possible than with only one fan. The fans are connected via the included Y-cable directly to the pump unit. It receives its power via an additional SATA power connector.
Of the other i-models from the Corsair Hydro Series known is the Corsair Link feature – simply the attached Corsair Link cable to connect to a USB header on the motherboard and download the free Corsair Link Dashboard software. Thus, the coolant temperature can be monitored by the application and the cooling performance can be controlled. The software also permits the adjustment of color effects, because the Corsair logo on the pump using RGB LEDs in every conceivable color and for example, depending on the coolant temperature can be illuminated.
