However, all compact watercooling systems combines the basic structure: They consist of two parts – the radiator and the heat sink. Is mounted on two 140s fan slots during the radiator at the h110i GT – preferably on the front panel or -oberseite – place the cooler on the CPU area. In the housing of the cooler, the pump and the expansion tank are already installed. Because it is a closed circuit, the system does not require maintenance.
The bottom of the heat sink absorbs the heat of the processor and routes them thanks to copper base plate efficiently to the water on. This in turn is pumped by the pump direction radiator, where the cooling liquid flows through a fine lamellar structure and transfers heat to the air flowing through. The fan again ensures that the radiator is constantly supplied by fresh air. Compared to its predecessor the h110i GT was further optimized, now looks a little fancier and now has jacketed hoses.
The h110i GT has two very powerful fan from the Corsair Air Series, more precisely, two SP140L PWM. Has been optimized for high static pressure, which is important for the operation together with a radiator. These offer specially made blades in the 140-mm fans a better relationship between the static pressure and noise and therefore higher performance with less noise than ordinary fans.
