Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100i Pro Complete Water Cooling

Clearly the Hydro H100i Pro belongs to the latter category. The main advantage of this Pro version over its predecessor is also the support for the TR4 socket for AMDs Threadripper and the almost brutal cooling performance despite downsized radiator. And of course, the chic RGB LED lighting must not be missing.

Strong AiO for perfect CPU cooling:
All compact WaKü systems combine the basic design: they consist of two parts – the radiator and the heat sink. While the radiator on the H100i Pro is mounted on two 120 fan slots – preferably on the front or top of the case – the cooler fits on the CPU. The pump and the expansion tank are already installed in the radiator housing. Because it is a closed circuit, the system does not need maintenance.

The bottom of the heatsink absorbs the waste heat from the processor and, thanks to the copper bottom plate, efficiently transfers it to the water. This in turn is pumped by the pump in the direction of the radiator, where the cooling fluid flows through a fine lamellar structure and releases the heat to the air flowing through. The fan in turn ensures that the radiator is constantly supplied with fresh air. Compared to the predecessor model, the H100i Pro was further optimized and could therefore be downsized. She now looks a little more chic and also has sheathed hoses.

The H100i Pro has two very powerful fans from the Corsair ML Series, more precisely: two ML 120 Pro. These are optimized for high static pressure, which is important for operation with a radiator. Specially designed wings in the 120mm fans offer a better balance between static pressure and noise levels for higher performance with less noise than ordinary fans. It is even possible to increase the number of fans to a maximum of four, which then act in push-pull configuration. The fans are connected directly to the pump unit via the included Y-cable. This receives its power via an additional SATA power connector.

The Corsair Link Series features the other i models in the Corsair Hydro Series – just plug the attached Corsair Link cable into a USB header on the motherboard and download the free Corsair Link Dashboard software. Thus, the coolant temperature can be monitored by application and the cooling capacity can be controlled. The software also allows color effects to be set, as the Corsair logo on the pump can be illuminated with RGB LEDs in all conceivable colors and, for example, depending on the coolant temperature.

For reasons of space, tower coolers can usually not be used, especially in compact housings. In the case of the H100i, however, only the flat cooler must sit directly on the CPU. The radiator can be installed quite freely at a suitable slot, taking into account the hose length.

The mounting system of the H110i Pro is suitable for the 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 2011 (-3), 2066, AM2 (+), AM3 (+), AM4 and TR4 sockets. The tool-free magnetic mounting brackets in a modular design makes installation easy. Thermal compound is already applied to the radiator underside.
