The pressure sensors of the pressure mps series can be used in many ways. Is measured as level sensors can be used in particular for large expansion tank tubes, in this case through the water column in the reservoir pressure generated at the sensor. The sensor is for this purpose at the level of the lower edge of the expansion tank (or lower) and mounted with one of the underlying terminals connected to the expansion tank. In addition, either the second port of the pressure sensor can be connected (only for type delta 40/100/500) with a connection to the top of the reservoir in the area of ​​the bubble, or there is mounted a pressure compensating membrane (all types). Connections and balancing diaphragm are not included and must be purchased separately!
Another application is the measurement of differential pressure on filters to monitor the rising with increasing fouling resistance, the maintenance of the filter element can be much better than a visual inspection to determine. The same applies to possible contamination in microstructure coolers. A differential pressure between inlet and outlet of a pump is suitable for monitoring the operation and provides valuable information for professional hardware tester.
All sensors have an integrated electronic controller with USB interface and aquabus a configurable alarm output and an external temperature sensor input. For monitoring and configuring the software is aquasuite available for download. The four-pole aquabus interface also allows direct connection to a aquaero 5 controller (not included). The alarm output can be configured either as an artificial speed signal for connection to a fan tachometer output signal processing (such as the motherboard) or timer output, for example, an LED for switching on alarm. For alarm monitoring are in addition to the measured pressure (depending on the assembly line with the current level) and the external temperature sensor input. The external temperature sensor input is compatible with all computers offered by Aqua compatible temperature sensors.
