State-of-the-art technology for optimum precision

The matt-black premium housing contains only high-quality components, which ensure excellent control and maximum precision. An optical PixArt PMW3360 sensor works with 100 – 16,000 DPI and has a sampling rate of 1,000 Hz at 1 ms response time thanks to a USB connection. The mouse accelerates at 7.62 m per second and handles all surfaces very well.

15 programmable buttons for MOBA / MMO combat

The SteelSeries Rival 500 is the ideal companion for comprehensive control in MOBA and MMO games with a total of 15 programmable buttons. Both main switches are equipped with high-quality and robust switches and have a lifetime of 30 million clicks. Four additional buttons + mouse wheel are located on the top of the mouse and allow very fast commands. Also useful are the six thumb buttons on the left side of the mouse, which allow a natural movement and are easy to reach. The thumb buttons can even be locked via a mechanical lock so that you can put your thumb safely without the actions being triggered.

The ergonomic design of the Rival 500 is suitable for two handle types. Whether palm or claw grip, the mouse can be held either with the complete palm of the hand or the fingertips of the right hand. For a quick change between different DPI settings, the Rival is also equipped with a small DPI button under the mouse wheel, which allows you to switch between two resolutions.

Individual lighting in two zones

Of course, the SteelSeries Rival is also equipped with RGB LED lighting, because nowadays you can hardly get anywhere without! The mouse wheel and the logo on the back can be individually illuminated. In addition to the static lighting, several effects are also possible. All this can be set in the easy-to-use software SteelSeries Engine 3, as well as all configurations for macros, profiles, mouse assignments and more.
