When joining such an acrylic tube with a cooler or other watercooling component , then either ideally back to such a special connection because so on the one hand , the tube is firmly attached to the nickel-plated brass fitting , on the other hand not the black anodized nut made of aluminum but too much pressure on the fragile Rigid Acrylic Tube exercises .
So that adequate sealing is provided and does not leak between the coolant tube and connector has the revolver – fitting a sealing ring ( O-ring) of rubber. The knurled nut is here for a good grip when tightening a fine diamond pattern. The compression fitting is suitable for one hand 13/10-OD/ID-Tubes and on the other side there is a G1/4 thread.
