The features of the MSI MPG CoreLiquid K240 in detail
The MPG CoreLiquid K240 has a 240 mm radiator that is cooled by two 120 mm PWM fans. The pump sits in the CPU cooler block together with a 2.4 inch display. The small screen can display system-specific data and serve as a hardware monitor, as well as display user-defined images and logos.
The two TORX 4.0 fans ensure that the radiator is constantly supplied with fresh air. MSI has given the MPG CoreLiquid K240 two 120 mm fans with digitally addressable RGB lighting. There is an additional 60 mm TORX 3.0 fan in the cooler-pump combo. This ensures airflow around the CPU socket, which benefits the cooling of the mainboard and its voltage converters and mosfets.
The fans can be controlled intelligently via G.I. mode. In this mode, the speed of the radiator fan, the CPU cooler fan and the pump are dynamically adapted to the system load. This enables efficient cooling and quiet operation.
