The DDR4 RAM modules feature beautifully designed gray heat spreaders (heatspreaders) to improve thermal performance. However, Crucial has designed the heatspreader so that the Ballistix Sport AT memory does not go up unnecessarily – an advantage in cramped systems.

With support for Intels XMP 2.0, the correct settings are automatically made by compatible motherboards, so the Ballistix Sport AT then clocks at 1.35 volts at 3000 MHz, achieving latencies of CL 17-19-19.
