Compared to the 600M, the 700M that shares the technical basis, the mouse is characterized by an even greater physical adjustability. The weight can up to four additional weights adapted to each 4.5 grams and the palm rest can be adjusted in height – in addition, it is also replaceable. For extra stability, the Cougar 700M donated an aluminum chassis, with which all components are firmly attached – anyway the weight is only about 110 grams.

Another feature is the rubberized surface that combines with the aerodynamic design for a cool and dry hand surface, allowing a comfortable and secure grip even in the fastest combat. Specially for better and more precise objectives, the 700M has on the thumb rest a special sniper button, which is operated by its special location, without affecting the posture or the movement of the mouse. A reasonable allocation on this button is the temporary reduction of the sensor sensitivity. For further special actions the 700M has an additional Fire button to the left of the left main button.

The 700M has eight programmable buttons with your mouse wheel, two main and two thumb buttons, a button behind the scroll wheel and the Fire and Sniper buttons. Cougars UIX software and three in the mouse itself storable profiles enable an extremely over-adaptation to individual needs in terms of keyboard layout and lighting, which can indicate, for example, the selected profile by an adjustable light color before the mouse wheel.
