The ASUS VG248QGs 24-inch (60.96 cm) display offers a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels with a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hertz, which can be increased to 165 Hertz via panel overclocking. The TN panel offers a response time of just one millisecond, which can be reduced to half a millisecond in ELMB mode (Extreme Low Motion Blur). Thanks to Adaptive-Sync, the FPS of the graphics card are synchronized with the refresh rate of the monitor. The ASUS VG248QG has G-Sync Compatible certification from NVIDIA.
Equipped with ASUS GamePlus technology, the VG248QG offers the option of showing timers, crosshairs and FPS counters via the menu on the screen. There is also an option to show guides for aligning multiple monitors. GameVisual technology also provides presets for various application scenarios such as movie enjoyment, MOBA and RPG titles. The flicker-free as well as the ultra-low-blue-light technology reduce the strain on the eyes with prolonged use.
Design, ergonomics and connectivity
The ASUS VG248QG offers a no-frills housing in black and a solid base with extensive ergonomic adjustment options: the display can be tilted and swiveled, is height adjustable and can be turned upright in pivot mode. The VESA holes 100 x 100 millimeters apart allow mounting on alternative monitor brackets.
The I / O panel of the 24-inch device has a dual-link DVI, an HDMI and a DisplayPort connection. Two 3.5 millimeter jack sockets serve as headphone input and connection for the integrated stereo speakers.
