The display refresh rate of the display and graphics card is perfectly synchronized, so that no tearing or input lag can occur – as in the case of V-sync. All TFT screens refresh their image content in refresh cycles. Each graphics card supplies the image data in variable frames per second (FPS), ie images per second, to the monitor.
