The Astro A30 Gaming Headset PC is the little brother of the almost legendary A40. Compared to the A40 gaming headset for pro gamers, the A30 puts the focus more on occasional gamers who still attach importance to good sound. The MixAmp Pro can be connected next to the PC on most game consoles TOSLINK and USB and expands the sound experience of the A30 to 7.1 surround sound. This upgrade not only the pro gamers many advantages but also allows filmmakers playing eg Blu-Rays with 7.1 surround sound.

In addition to a streaming port for live streaming of MixAmp Pro comes with four different audio profiles. These are the Pro mode for playing in competitive conditions, the core mode, which is the default mode, the Media mode for movies and music as well as the LAN mode.

The LAN mode is similar to the Pro Mode and has a custom microphone setting signals for noisy environments. This mode is primarily intended for gaming big events. For smaller private network sessions can connect multiple MixAmp Pros directly with each other to an audio network.
