The Cypher MX from Akasa was specially developed for thin mini ITX mainboards. The generous mesh surfaces in the lid and the sides ensure good cooling potential. To increase the airflow even further, the left side wall of the Cypher MX offers a mounting space for an optional 40 millimeter fan with a thickness of 10 millimeters.

The interior of the Cypher MX offers space for a 2.5-inch data carrier and can accommodate a thin mini ITX board in 6.7 x 6.7 format. In addition to the mandatory power and reset buttons, there are two additional audio connections and four USB 2.0 type A sockets in the front. There are also two antennas on the back of the case.
