Behind the slim look and compact housing of the DS420 + hides a powerful Intel Celeron J4025 Duo Core with 2.0 GHz and a turbo up to 2.9 GHz and 2 GB DDR4 memory. In addition, there are two free hard disk slots for 3.5- or 2.5-inch drives inside.

The matching brackets are included in the accessory
package. Thus, you can install all SATA data carriers that correspond to the form factor. In addition, the NAS system has two M.2 2280 PCI-E 3.0 SSD interfaces. The data carriers installed here are used as cache memory without an additional slot being occupied. These SSD cache storages speed up system performance and applications on your NAS. The total capacity of the NAS system with appropriate RAID configuration is 32 TB and thus offers enough storage space for home users & IT lovers.

Your personal multimedia library
Synology Disk Station DS420 + offers a wide range of multimedia applications. Using the appropriate Android and iOS apps, you can easily access photos, music, videos or data files on the go or from the comfort of your sofa. The integration of Alexa, via a suitable app, also allows you to use your personal voice assistant for your own multimedia library.

In addition to raid backup, the DS420 + also offers functions for backing up cloud data from other cloud
services. Alternatively, you can use Synology Drive Client to back up fully autonomous backups of your devices to Disk Station. Note: Data carriers are not included in the scope of delivery and must therefore be purchased separately!
