To achieve its full performance, Wi-Fi 6E leverages newly available unlicensed radio spectrum in the 6 GHz band - a band dedicated exclusively to Wi-Fi 6E-enabled devices. This means that older devices will not affect Wi-Fi 6E performance at all.

Since the new 6 GHz band is reserved exclusively for Wi-Fi 6E devices, the dynamic frequency selection that prevents interference with devices such as air traffic control radar is eliminated. This means that devices can connect faster, without the delays that DFS technology causes.

The technology of the Wi-Fi 6 standard
Wi-Fi 6E means Wi-Fi 6 has been extended to the 6GHz band. It works with the same standard as Wi-Fi 6, but with an expanded spectrum.

Network efficiency designed for multi-device environments
Wi-Fi 6 leverages OFDMA and MU-MIMO technology to provide up to four times greater network capacity than Wi-Fi 5 and greater efficiency in multi-device environments. OFDMA allows signals from multiple devices* to be pooled and transmitted simultaneously, reducing latency for a smoother, more responsive Wi-Fi experience.

The GT-AXE11000's new 6GHz power amplifier improves both signal strength and quality. The 1.8GHz 64-bit quad-core CPU with 1GB of RAM enables parallel processing for increased speed when processing data from multiple devices, making it easy to handle even the busiest Wi-Fi 6E network can.

Optimized antenna design
To reduce power loss and maximize coverage, ROG engineers minimized the distance between the motherboard connectors and the antennas. A new antenna design optimizes signal strength in every direction, and each of the eight antennas is well isolated from its neighbors, especially the four 6GHz antennas.

Looks cool, runs cool
Heat can affect performance. That's why the GT-AXE11000 is designed for efficient heat dissipation and has special ventilation openings on the top, bottom and sides of the case. The top and side vents are perfectly aligned with the internal heatsink and, together with the large vent at the bottom, ensure efficient vertical convection, significantly increasing cooling airflow.
