For precisely such systems, the Max-S housing from Akasa has been developed that can be used either lying flat or directly to VESA mounts the monitor. Designed specifically for the said NUC boards, it is designed very flat space-saving and above all, but brings in addition to these purely practical point of view, a very elegant appearance on the table or behind the monitor.
A brushed aluminum makes the black Akasa Max S to a restrained yet stylish genuine contemporaries, which thus arranges itself wonderfully as HTPC dwelling in every HiFi landscape. The front is broken only by two USB 3.0 ports, the obligatory power button, an audio port and an IR receiver.
The Max S we shipped with two front plates, one of which is suitable for the installation of a 5.25-inch slim-slot drive, while the other front panel allows the installation of a 5.25-inch slim-tray drive.
Top and outer edges are almost completely equipped with aluminum cooling fins, which has its meaning in the fact that the case itself illustrates the cooler here and completely fanless. That is, the system works in NUC Akasa Max S completely silent. For the SoC chip on the motherboard and a contact surface of the housing come into direct contact.
For ideal heat transfer thermal compound will be delivered. In addition, VESA Mounting screws, motherboard Screws, Rubber feet and all necessary cables and accessories are supplied in order to take the mini system in operation (external power supply must be purchased separately!)
